This is a handmade rice/flax seed therapeutic heating/cooling wrap. It averages 20" x 5". You can also get this design in a body pad which is 20" x 9". I segment them so the rice stays more evenly distributed. The average heating time is 1-3min but can vary depending on the microwave. You can also warm up your bag in the oven at 325 for about 20min. Check it often during the warming process and shift it around so the rice can be evenly heated. Overheating can result in a burn so please be careful. When placing your bag in the freezer I recommend that they are put in a plastic bag to prevent the freezer smell from attaching to the fabric. Rice bags release moist heat that helps to aide with circulation and pain relief to sore muscles and joints. As your bag cools down, the heat becomes even more penetrating. The heat helps dilate blood vessels and increases the flow of oxygen and nutrients to help heal damaged tissue. It also decrease the transmission of pain signals to the brain and helps relieve discomfort. When used as a cold pack it works by reducing blood flow to a particular area which can significantly reduce inflammation and swelling that cause pain. These bags help with strains, kidney stone pain, autism, body tremors, TMJ, migraines, joint pain, inflammation, PMS, anxiety and depression, fibromyalgia, and post surgery and injection recovery. Sizing details
My long neck/shoulder/knee wraps are 30" long and 6" wide. The samller neck ones are 20" x 5". The body ones are about 20" long and 9" wide, and the smaller body ones are 14" x 7".
Care instructions
These can be hand washed but I also can make you a matching sleeve for easy on and off and they can be washed in the machine. These are a really good idea if you use on a sick person, or in a babies crib.

Can these be put in the oven?
I have many people who have put their bags in the oven due to no microwave. If you do this I recommend wrapping in aluminum foil and to not do hotter than 250.
How long do i microwave them for?
I would microwave up to 3.5 min with turning your bag throughout the warm up process. If you do longer that's up to u. But beware of burning the fabric or yourself.
Can I freeze my bag?
Yes that is the wonderful thing about these bags they do hot and cold. I recommend putting your bag in a plastic bag before placing in the freezer. This way your bag will not pick up the freezer scent.
